This FCV-581 has been bench-tested and proven to be fully functional. (This unit is the 50kHz edition, it only operates on this frequency.)

Cosmetically, this unit shows normal signs of wear/usage (SEE PHOTOS). The housing has sun-induced discoloration, the clear viewing window screws have oxidation, and the rear panel has a screw that was broken off. The hole from the broken screw is plugged, eliminating the possibility of moisture intrusion. Overall, these factors have no effect on the operation of the unit itself.
