This FA-50 has been thoroughly tested using a TZT14 and a PC with a NMEA0183 interface. It has been updated to the latest software version (v2.02) for optimal performance.
No MMSI is currently programmed, so it’s ready to be configured with your unique MMSI. We’re happy to program it for you—just let us know at the time of purchase.
The unit will not transmit (TX) until an MMSI is programmed. The test display used during evaluation is not included. You will need to connect the FA-50 to a VHF antenna for proper operation.
