This FA-50 AIS unit has been fully tested using a TZT14 and PC via NMEA 0183 and is functioning perfectly. It has been updated to the latest firmware version 2.02.
Important: No MMSI has been programmed, so it’s ready for installation and setup with your unique MMSI. We offer MMSI programming for an additional fee—please let us know at checkout if you’d like this service.
Note: The unit will not transmit until an MMSI is entered. This needs to be connected to a VHF/AIS antenna or splitter.
