This is a pre-owned Furuno FA-150 Class A AIS system, approved by the IMO.
The system has been fully tested and verified to both transmit and receive AIS traffic. All input and output data ports have also been tested and confirmed to be fully functional.
The FA-1501 and FA-1502 units have been updated to software versions 4.07 and 4.06, respectively. Additionally, the MMSI and Call Sign, along with any other critical vessel data from the previous owner, have been removed.
The purchaser is responsible for entering and installing a valid MMSI number and Call Sign. Without an MMSI number, the unit will not transmit.
It is also the purchaser’s responsibility to measure and input any critical vessel data accurately.
For an additional fee, we offer programming services for this AIS. Please contact us at the time of purchase if you require this service.
Both the display and transponder are in great cosmetic condition, showing minimal signs of wear, as seen in the provided photos.
PLEASE NOTE: This dispaly will have some intermittent pixels that come and go. We tend to notice them go away the longer the unit is on.
