This DRS4A has been fully tested on our bench and is in excellent working condition. We have also updated this radar to the latest software version 1.18, which allows this radar to work with the TZ Models.
All DRS radars operate on 48 VDC, so we are including x2 NEW Victron 12 to 24 VDC power supplies to increase the output voltage to 48 VDC. These can be used in place of the PSU-012 as those are harder to come by and carry a higher price tag than the Victron units. These two power supplies must be connected in a series (wiring diagram included). Instead of the ethernet wire connecting directly to the PSU-012, you can directly connect this DRS to any NavNet3D or TZtouch. A HUB-101 or similar switch can be used if a direct connection is not an option. We are only supplying the jumper wire between the two Victron units to increase the total output voltage. Other wiring will need to be supplied by the customer.
This radar has the ability to unlock the ARPA function with the use of your MFD (NavNet 3D’s, TZT, TZT2’s, TZT3’s), you just need to connect a GPS antenna and a heading sensor to your existing system. Please refer to the MFD manual for further information on how to properly use ARPA.
