This radar is excellent for bird detection and has been thoroughly bench-tested to ensure it’s in perfect working condition.

We’ve updated the radar to the latest software version (v1.18), guaranteeing full compatibility with any TZtouch MFD. A jumper (included) must be installed in the PSU for proper operation with TZtouch systems.

ARPA Capability: When paired with a compatible MFD (NavNet 3D, TZT, TZT2, or TZT3), this radar can unlock ARPA functionality. To enable ARPA, simply connect both a GPS antenna and a heading sensor to your system. Please consult your MFD manual for specific instructions.

Special Note for MFD8, MFD12, and MFDBB Users: The jumper must be removed when using this radar with these models.

For easier installation, we’re including detailed wiring diagrams for both the PSU-013 and the DRS25A. These diagrams will help ensure proper setup. If you see a red light on the PSU-013, this typically indicates a wiring fault—often due to incorrect connections.

Installation Tip: Do NOT cut or splice the 3-pin connector into the NMEA2000 terminal block inside the DRS.

Antenna Options: This radar includes a 6 ft antenna by default, but if you prefer a 4 ft version, we can check availability and swap it out at no additional cost (used antennas only). New antennas are sold separately. Please contact us prior to purchase to make this request.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a confluence of supply chain issues and rising costs, we are supplying this radar with a suitable replacement that is made right here in-house. Our replacement uses quality Ancor, and Turck components that we feel is as good if not better than the factory. The only differences from factory cable are as follows:
Instead of being a “siamese” cable with no protection, ours is two individual wires in a durable cable wrap
Our cable uses green (-), instead of blue (-)
Our cable uses an electronically shielded data wire, and an unshielded power wire, whereas the Furuno cable uses a shielded power and shielded data wire.
