This radar is excellent for bird detection and has been thoroughly tested on our bench. It is in perfect working condition.

We have updated the radar to the latest software version (1.18), ensuring full compatibility with any TZtouch MFD. A jumper (included) must be installed in the PSU for the radar to function with any TZtouch MFD.

Important Note: This radar can unlock the ARPA function when used with an MFD (NavNet 3D, TZT, TZT2, TZT3). To enable ARPA, simply connect a GPS antenna and a heading sensor to your existing system. Please refer to your MFD manual for detailed instructions on using ARPA properly.

If installing this radar with an MFD8, MFD12, or MFDBB, the jumper must be removed.

For your convenience, we are including wiring diagrams for both the PSU-013 and the DRS25a. Please reference these when wiring the DRS. If you see a red light on the PSU-013, this indicates a fault, often caused by incorrect wiring.

Important: The 3-pin connector should NOT be chopped and wired into the NMEA2000 terminal block inside the DRS.

If you prefer a 4 ft antenna instead of the 6 ft antenna for this DRS, we can check for available used antennas and replace them at NO ADDITIONAL COST! New antennas must be purchased separately. Please contact us before completing your purchase.
