Additional Notes: This listing is for a pre-owned DRS12A add-on radar, fully tested and confirmed to be in excellent working condition. It is highly effective for bird detection and has been updated to the latest software version (1.18), ensuring compatibility with TZ models. The pedestal has also been professionally painted.
All DRS radars operate on 48 VDC, so we are including 2x NEW Victron 12 to 24 VDC power supplies to increase the output voltage to 48 VDC. These can be used in place of the PSU-012, as those are harder to come by and carry a higher price tag than the Victron units. These two power supplies must be connected in a series (wiring diagram included). Instead of the Ethernet wire connecting directly to the PSU-012, you can directly connect this DRS to any NavNet3D or TZtouch. A HUB-101 or similar switch can be used if a direct connection is not an option. We are only supplying the jumper wire between the two Victron units to increase the total output voltage. Other wiring will need to be supplied by the customer.
Important Note: This radar supports ARPA functionality when used with compatible MFDs (NavNet 3D, TZT, TZT2, TZT3). To enable ARPA, simply connect a GPS antenna and a heading sensor to your existing system. Please refer to your MFD manual for detailed instructions.
