Additional Notes: This Furuno 235DST-MSE smart sensor will output Depth, Speed, and Sea Temperature through NMEA0183 to any device from any brand capable of receiving NMEA0183 information. The sensor has been fully tested, test report attached. The sensor’s power/data wires were cut short so 4 conductor cable will need to be used to extend the harness to your device – it is easy to wire – red and black are 12vdc, blue and white are your NMEA0183 data wires.

We are including a bronze housing kit and blanking plug. There is 44″ of cable attached, which will need to be extended. The transducer operates at the 235khz frequency, which is beneficial as it will not interfere with 50 or 200 khz devices.

Please note: The tag on the transducer says “235DST-PSE” – the “P” is “Plastic,” but because we have kitted this with a metal (“M)/bronze housing, this is effectively a “235DST-MSE”.
