Additional Notes: This blanking plug comes as shown – this is compatible with older Datamarine only – this won’t work on newer Datamarine transducers that were manufactured by Airmar.
The easiest way to tell is on the compatible Radarsonics housings, the clevis pin that locks the insert or plug in place goes THROUGH THE THREADED HOUSING BODY ITSELF. If there is no clevis pin present, or if there is one but it doesn’t go through the threaded part of the housing, then it’s a newer Airmar unit. Additionally, the Radarsonics version has a very large flare/lip at the top where it rests on the top of the housing, the Airmar doesn’t have this lip. It should be pretty obvious which one you have.
