Additional Notes: Bergen Nautik Norway BN25A NSK 71 Nautical Boat Compass ~ Tested This item came from a vessel that was being refitted with all-new electronics. This Bergen Nautik Norway BN25A NSK 71 Nautical Boat Compass was tested on our bench, we used a cd100 adapter to a cd35 interface and then to an ac20 autopilot computer to test this unit. We found that it communicated with the cd100 adapter perfectly and accurately as compared to a modern NMEA or rate compass. The cd100,ac20, and cd35 interface, and ap26 are not included in this sale and were only used for testing purposes. Please note: This is a vintage item and shows its age in some ways. It is functional but it did leak during testing, so we cleaned the gasket and used a rubberizing adhesive to seal the gap between the ring and the gasket. it no longer leaks, but there is an air pocket in the compass now. As well as some surface scratches on the painted housing. The compass has decent clarity for its age. This listing includes:
