Additional Notes: Even though this is fitted with a 7-pin connector, the connector can be cut off and this can be hard-wired into virtually any brand. This is an Airmar temperature sensor/transducer with 10k ohm thermistor, compatible with most major/current brands. The only units we know this won’t work with are 5k ohm legacy lowrance units and 30k ohm Dytek and Sitex Sea Temperature units (will work on normal sitex sounders, just not the SST-110 which was made to be a direct replacement for Dytek).
All Garmin, Furuno, Navico, & Raymarine units use a thermistor with this value. This may need to be spliced into your transducer cable if you’re using it to replace a bad temp sensor on a transducer that is otherwise fully functional.
In case you’re actually using this on the legacy Simrad CX, CE, CA, or EQ series, the 7-pin temp isolation cable is included, if using on another brand, this cable can be discarded.
