This Transducer is in good condition. It was on a boat that was upgraded to a different sounder.
This is a bare wire transducer and can be used with a multitude of systems, Including Garmin via the GSD26, Furuno via the ETR30N and DFF3, and Simrad though the BSM-2 or BSM-3.
This is an excellent choice for the DFF3, FCV-295, FCV-1150, etc.
To use with the Garmin GSD26, you will need to use fixed frequencies and you will use the chart in the pictures to enter frequency and impedance in the manual setup menu for the GSD26.
To use with the Furuno units, wire bare wires to the terminal blocks in the sounder/sounder module and make sure your tap settings are set as per Furuno documentation.
To use with Simrad BSM-2 and 3, wire bare wires to the terminal blocks and follow manufacturer instructions for manually inputting fixed frequencies.
This is NOT a CHIRP tranducer. It is a standard 50/200 dual frequency transducer.
We have kitted this with a new stuffing tube, a new fairing block, & a new set of mounting hardware. The only thing we do not have is the styrofoam plug to fill the mounting stud holes after installation so that water flows smoothly over the face of the transducer, however, you can use a marine grade silicone sealant for the same result – this is what the previous installer had done as the foam has a tendency to fall out anyways.
