Additional Notes: This R309 transducer is new old stock - it has never been installed but was stored outside the original box so it has a few light scratches. Comes complete with fairing block, install kit, and stuffing tube. This is a bare wire transducer and can be used with a multitude of systems: Furuno - Will work with the DFF3, ETR 30N, FCV-295, FCV-1150, and others - just wire the bare wires to the terminals and use the tap settings matrix available online to set your taps. Garmin via the GSD26 - Will not "CHIRP" but can be used on two fixed frequencies within the frequency range. You will program frequency and impedance in the manual setup menu for the GSD26. We can provide programming values for this or can perform the programming here for a nominal fee. Simrad BSM-2 and 3 - wire bare wires to the terminal blocks and follow manufacturer instructions for manually inputting fixed frequencies. Out of an abundance of caution, we tested this using our TDT1000 - it tests perfectly, see attached report. Please note - the hardware kit comes with a cylindrical piece of styrofoam used to plug the holes at each end of the transducer after the transducer is fully installed. You use a razor to cut the foam flush with the face of the transducer. The foam is broken in half, but in such a way that it will not affect its purpose as you are cutting off a good bit of it and only one foam plug it included to fill 2 holes, so 2 halves will fill 2 holes equally effectively. Just insert the "good" non broken side in first and you will cut off the other side with the razor. We only mention this so buyers do not become concerned about shipping damage when they receive it.
