This is an M260 that was removed from a boat being refit with new electronics.
The XID (transducer ID) function on this M260 is not functional – you will need to setup the GSD22 manually by following the procedure outlined by Garmin for programming transducer parameters manually. You will access the field service menu, do a manual transducer configuration, and set 50 khz to 1000w and 250 ohm, and 200 khz to 1000w and 90 ohm.
Aside from the XID issue, the transducer tests good on the TDT1000, which is Airmar’s latest/greatest transducer test set.
Please note that if using with displays with internal sounder (like the 740s), you may not be able to do a manual configuration. We only know for a fact that this can be done on the GSD22 and GSD24 – you can use this with the GSD24 if you cut the plug off and add the 8-way wire block adapter.
