This B256 came to us in a fairing block with a cut cable and no bronze hull nut. We realize the B256 is a unique size and it is discontinued, so a working unit may be of value to a boater with a failed unit. We popped it out of the damaged fairing block and cleaned it up, it is ready to be reinstalled to replace your bad B256. We do feel this transducer is best used to replace a faulty one, where you can reuse your bronze hull nut, reuse your fairing block, and splice your old plug on. The fairing block, bronze hull nut, and factory Furuno 10 pin end are not included.
This has been tested with an Airmar TDT1000 – the gold standard in transducer test equipment, it has passed and the temp sensor is also functional.
