Manufacturer:

Model Number: B275C-LHW

Series: Transducer

Listed Item Condition: Used

Product Details:

This transducer is effectively a loose wire B275c-LHW with a couple disclosures. The transducer was removed from a boat, the owner was upgrading to a 3kw, and to facilitate removal, the cable was cut short (this allows a socket to be placed over the stem to help push it out without thread damage).

We had a Raymarine CHIRP extension cable so we spliced it into this short length of cable, effectively making this a Raymarine B275c-LHW. What we did not do is embed a 3k ohm resistor in the sense ID circuit (this is a unique Raymarine thing) so the transducer didn't work properly for Raymarine, but since the splice was made so well and there was no sense in trying to redo it, we simply cut the Raymarine plug off to convert it to bare-wire CHIRP. The caveat here is that Raymarine uses different wire colors in their transducer extension cable then Airmar, so we have identified each wire color and its function, including the low and high CHIRP bundles, temperature, XID, and temp/XID ground. We are including this with the transducer, and it is pictured. It should be very clear what corresponds to what, and the Raymarine wire is the exact same spec as Airmar's.

We have tested the transducer with the Airmar TDT1000, the gold standard in transducer testing - results are attached! We also tested the seawater temperature sensor and it is fully functional.

We are including a high-speed fairing block, new blem stock. It has a few scratches and the cutting guide flange (used to steady the block when running through a saw) is broken off in a couple spots but still usable. Functionally, the fairing block is 100%.

Now that we have all of that out of the way, here is what the transducer is compatible with:

For Garmin – Works with the GSD26 or GSD28 – just wire to the terminals, for connection to GSD25 and “XSV” units, use the Garmin 12 pin wire block adapter, part number 010-11613-10

For Raymarine – Use Airmar’s 33-969-01 adapter box

For Furuno – Works with the DFF3, DFF1-UHD – just wire to the terminals. For TZT3 and TZTXL 12-pin internal sounder applications, you will need the TZ3-12P-PGT Kit

For Simrad – Works with BSM2&3 – wire directly to the terminals, you may need to remove the 7 pin plugs on the BSM-3 if equip to wire directly. For the S5100, use the Simrad 000-13262-001 adapter box.
