Additional Notes: This temp sensor is a 5k ohm thru-hull sensor originally intended for legacy Lowrance units. In those applications, it will be plug and play. It can be used with newer Lowrance and Simrad units, however, if one were to splice this into the temp line of the transducer and select a transducer type that has a "-5k" after it which will cause the machine to use the 5k ohm thermistor value instead of the 10k. This will not work with any other brands besides Lowrance/Simrad in our experience as the thermal resistor value on Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno, etc is 10k ohm.
