This M-232 was bench-tested and verified as fully functional. We tested it using a PC and FLIR interface, as well as a Raymarine MFD running LightHouse II software. We also updated the software and boson firmware versions of the camera for optimal performance.
As is consistent with so many pre-owned thermal cameras, the Germanium lens of the thermal element has spots on it (please see photos). These spots are a normal reaction of Germanium to marine environmental exposure. Because the lens is thermal and not optical, these spots have absolutely no effect on the camera’s operation and imaging.
This camera comes with then necessary cables and mounting accessories for immediate installation.
