Additional Notes: We recently evaluated all of our used stock transducers with the Airmar TDT1000, which is the gold standard in transducer test equipment. This transducer passed testing and is operationally fine.
This is listed for parts/repair because of the cosmetic condition of the of the bottom of the transducer. As you can see from the images provided, there is a something going on between the metal housing and the urathane causing what appears to be some sort of seperation or debonding between the materials.
Because of this descrepency, we feel that this transducer would be perfect as a test/troubleshooting transducer for a marine electronics installer.
PLEASE NOTE: If this transducer is to be installed on a boat, it will be at the customers discretion.
