Additional Notes: This 12kW HD Digital Open Array Radar System has been designated as an MME REFURB! Items that receive this designation have gone through our rigorous testing procedure and addressed common failure points. Due to our extensive experience with used marine electronics, we can identify potential failures and have developed fixes for these failure points to ensure that our customers receive the best-used unit available.

Within our extensive MME refurbishment process, we have completely disassembled the radar pedestal for professional sandblasting, followed by powder coating with marine-grade paint that is superior to the original finish. This unit is immaculate inside and out! It is then meticulously reassembled with clean rubber seals and new bearing grease. This radar’s antenna array has been disassembled to tighten up the internal core and then reassembled with sealed end caps. You won’t have to worry about water intrusion or these caps flying off the array when it’s spinning.

This radar system was then rigorously tested for several hours to ensure the unit was in great overall working order! It performs optimally and acquires strong target returns at all ranges, with every self-test successfully passing!

The VCM100 is NEW, and was briefly tested with this system to ensure its working condition. It performs like NEW and has never been used or installed. See photos!

This radar system also comes with a brand-NEW radar cable, as most used cables have a common failure point found where the cable connects to the radar, in that the strain relief deteriorates, exposing the cable to moisture, which can then cause premature failure of the radar/cable or possibly an electrical short.

The included hardware is NEW and has never been used.

This is the Enhanced software version 3.23 of the HD Digital Radar. With this revision, Raymarine implemented a hardware redesign to overcome start-up difficulties and also added 48RPM and Bird Mode features when connected to a Widescreen or newer model display. These features are not accessible on an E-Series Classic display.
