Additional Notes: This listing is for a SeaView 5″ vertical riser base that is in fair but easily salvagable condition. This mount unique in that it has two top plates, one for a direct camera mount and a second for mounting with a FTD-R2 riser. It will come assembled with the second top plate attached. If you plan to remove this plate and use only to direct mount composite top plate, you will need to use different hardware, not supplied with this mount.
The mount has some scratches of the powder coating from being stored in a bin of metal parts. The aluminum substrate is not compromised or corroded. The bottom of the base had a fair amount of 5200 adhesive on it. We removed the majority of it. As you can see from the photos, there is still some residual adhesive left on the mount.
