This C90W MFD has been successfully bench-tested with peripherals NOT included. Both SeaTalkHS and SeaTalkNG ports as well as the card reader (no chart card included) are working optimally!
The LCD screen picture is clear with no damaged pixels!
It comes preloaded with Navionics Cartography for the U.S. East and West Coasts, Gulf Coast, Great Lakes, and the Bahamas!
*The chart card door is secure and does NOT fall off, however, we have installed a 3D-printed replacement Uni-controller equivalent to the factory’s units because the original had broken. All testing was completed post-repair (see photos)!*
We have updated the operating system of this display to the latest software v2.35, to run at peak performance.
These units are commonly plagued with failing rotary knob assemblies and broken chart card doors. This unit was one of those units so we have replaced the uni-controller rotary knob assembly with a 3D-printed unit. We have also grafted in a 3D-printed solution for the broken chart card door. Both of these repairs operate as the stock one did. See photos.
Our testing is rigorous, we port test these units, and should anything come up post-sale, we can deal with it!
