Additional Notes: This transducer was from a marine electronics shop who’s owner retired. It in a new open box unit and it comes complete with all installation materials. Out of an abundance of caution, we tested it on an Airmar TDT1000 and it tests perfectly AND shows “0 hours” in the test, which corroborates the “new open box” condition.
This is an in-hull transducer designed for use in fiberglass boats that are solid glass, NOT for cored hulls or other hull materials. It will not shoot through wood, foam core, carbon fiber, or other materials that can attenuate the signal. Additionally, the fiberglass needs to be solid with no air voids. We ask buyers to please familiarize themselves with in-hull transducers, mounting location, etc before purchasing as they work amazing when installed properly, but can be very frustrating when someone attempts to install them on the wrong type of boat or in the wrong location on a boat.
This has the Raymarine 1kw CHIRP plug and will work with the units listed in “compatible parts”.
