We have paired a Furuno 12KW UHD radar with a Furuno NavNet 3D 12″ (MFD12) display for a standalone or add-on radar system.
This would be a great add-on radar system for someone with an existing MFD12 and looking to upgrade.
We can customize this system to your liking; we can add another MFD12, GP-330, PG-700, DFF1, DFF3, HUB-101, and FA-50, etc… The add-ons will incur additional fees. Please contact us at the time of sale if you want to upgrade.
We updated the DRS12a and the MFD12 to the latest software revision 1.18 and 2.13 respectively
The radar and MFD12 have been fully tested on our bench and found to be fully functional.
PLEASE NOTE: This radar has the ability to unlock the ARPA function with the use of your MFD12, you just need to connect a GPS antenna and a heading sensor to your existing NMEA2000 network. Please refer to the MFD manual for further information on how to properly use ARPA.
We have updated the pre-loaded charts on the MFD12 but you will need ANY NMEA2000 GPS antenna or GP-320b for chart plotting. We have some available for purchase.
