Additional Notes: This highly capable top-of-the-line Icom VHF radio was fully tested here at MME. All functions were found to perform well, including the NMEA 0183 and 2000 connections and the built-in hailer. The radio functions were tested with a communications systems monitor and this unit was found to have great transmitter power and exceptional receiver sensitivity. Please be aware that despite appearances this particular model does not come equipped with an AIS receiver. The MMSI has not yet been set so this unit is ready for its new home!
