Designated as an MME REFURB because it has gone through our rigorous testing procedure and had common failure points addressed. With our vast experience with pre-owned marine electronics, we can identify potential failures and we have developed fixes for these failure points to ensure that our customers are getting the best-used unit out there.
Within our extensive MME REFURB process, we have installed a new LCD screen as well as rebuilt the backlight circuit with components superior to those originally found in this display. The unit was taken completely apart down to restore the chassis/lightbox to white, eliminating the yellow hue around the edges often found on these displays, then meticulously reassembled.
There are a few minor scratches on the acrylic lens, however, they do NOT affect the view and can only be truly seen when the unit is powered down.
The operating system of this display has been updated to the latest software version, v5.69, to run at peak performance.
The bezel is in good used condition with one crack that has been repaired with epoxy. We advise being gentle when removing and installing the bezel so as not to crack the plastic. The sun cover is in excellent condition with no cracks or major blemishes.
