Additional Notes: This is a “new open box” transducer. It has never been installed and comes complete with factory end and installation kit. Warranty from Airmar is expired, but Max Marine Electronics warrants the product for 90 days. This transducer uses a BL connector and has a 5k ohm temp sensor, the most common temp sensors are 10k ohm, but in Simrad/Lowrance units, you can change the temp sensor value to 5k ohm in the transducer setup menu – this is because legacy Lowrance units used a 5k ohm thermistor. As such, it would be ill-advised to cut the plug off and attempt to use this on another brand. However, you can still use on newer Simrad units with the BL to Xsonic adapter cable and will still have the ability to change thermistor settings.
