We acquired this AIS 300 from a vessel being refit with new electronics.
The Garmin AIS 300 is a RECIEVER ONLY! It will not transmit
We tested this unit with a Garmin 5208 (N2K), a Furuno VX2 (NMEA0183), and a Standard Horizon VHF
This will work with any N2K compatible chart plotter or NMEA0183 chart plotter (Baud 38,400).
This receiver will need to be connected to a VHF antenna
