Raytheon Ray220 VHF Hailer w/ Microphone Marine Radio – Tested

This unit was acquired from a vessel being refit with new electronics.

This Ray220 VHF/ Hailer is in good working condition.

There was no MMSI number that we saw and when we tried to test DSC we did get a “beep” tone indicating it could not TX on ch70 and according to the manual this indicates an RT without an MMSI.

It does have some rough aesthetic areas where the paint has chipped on the rear metal casing (refer to photos)

You will receive VHF w/ mic

We tested TX / RX. All buttons/knobs good.

The back-light of the lcd works, but is a little dim. The lcd still works just fine.

There is some discoloration on mic but it still works just fine.

Please refer to photos as this is a used item and will show signs of wear and tear. Any wear and tear above normal will be mentioned above and shown clearly in photos.
