This item came from a boat being refit with new electronics. This is a Garmin GMR Fantom 4 40Watt that features MotionScope technology. We confirmed working functionality of the radar by picking up a target ranging at 4 miles. Since we are roughly 6 miles in-land, it is a harder for us to test and show functionality of the use of MotionScope technology because we do not have moving boats near us. This radar is in working condition and is updated to the latest software version Garmin provides. There is a hair line scratch on the front of the pedestal but overall the unit is in pretty good condition.
This Fantom 4 radar is compatible with select MFD displays so we highly advise to look it up on Garmin’s website and click on the Compatible Device list to see all the displays that will work with this radar. **Please do that before purchasing so you do not make a mistake of buying a radar that is not compatible with your display!
This listing is for the Garmin GMR Fantom 4 radar, new Fantom 4 foot antenna (we used this antenna during testing of the radar), a 30 foot power cable, and a 40 foot network cable.
