We recently went through our stock of big used transducers with our TDT1000 transducer tester. This is the most advanced transducer tester available and it gives a definitive yes or no as to whether the transducer is functional. Any that were not within range were disposed of.

The TDT1000 results displayed are of this exact transducer in testing.

This is a B258 that was for a Furuno system (can be seen by part number on white label) Total cable length is around 8 feet and has a 10-pin connector on it.

If you look at the pictures, where the stem of the transducer meets the cable, the jacket of the cable is starting to pull away exposing the conductors….We would recommend that you put in place some sort of strain relief after installation so that this does not become a problem in the future.

Includes a new fairing block and anti-rotation bolt.
