This was removed from a boat that upgraded to new electronics. This radar works properly but does get a factory setup and IF tune fail in the diagnostics. We have been advised by Raymarine that should a unit work properly but show any issues in diagnostics, that we should disregard those diagnostics. The reason for these parameters to fail is unclear, but we have seen this over and over again and have many radars in service today that have this condition – the operation of the radar is indistinguishable from one that shows “pass” on these parameters.
This unit was tested with a display, which is not included. The radar picked up targets from 10-15nm out. The heater hour count is 1535.6. This radar DOES NOT come with a radar cable!
This is FULLY compatible with the C & E series Classic (i.e. E120, C80) displays, as well as RL and SL series displays.
