This item was part of a bulk lot of equipment acquired from a boat dealer that was cleaning up the house. This has been sitting for about 5 years. We have two available, listed separately.
Originally, this was sent off, refurbished, and painted, and for reasons unknown, not reinstalled – the current service manager was not around when this was done so all he knows is that it was refurbished, we do not know by whom or exactly when.
It was sitting on a shop floor for several years and was put in a storage container. It is a little dirty from sitting and has one damaged black plastic cap as seen in the pictures. The shaft does have surface rust from being unprotected, we feel it can probably be removed with the right tools but we have reduced the price on this unit to reflect that.
We are a marine electronics shop, not a marine diesel shop, so our knowledge on this part is limited, however, we can tell you that this came from a very reputable national dealer and we have no doubt that the history on it we received is factual.
