Description
We recently purchased a large inventory of excess parts from a marine business downsizing to a smaller facility. This unit is in good used condition cosmetically.
Upon applying 12v to the battery leads through a 40a power supply, we were able to run numerous 110vac loads through the inverter circuit and indicator light was green. Inverter is functional
Upon applying 110vac to the ac input and trying to charge a dead hobby battery (very small backup battery), we could not get the charger to initialize, we also could not get it to run any 12v loads from the battery leads, it would click momentarily as if a solenoid was closing to begin charging but nothing on the 12v outputs.
This was the extent of our testing and because we were unable to determine charger functionality, buyers should assume it is not functional. Inverter, however, is fully functional so this would make a great inverter.
