We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business. This is a new old stock item and is in excellent condition. The unit is still in factory original boxes and has only minor blemishes on the packaging. The item comes as shown in the photos.
We were able to determine that this is a Sierra 18-2401 Lower Gear Housing based on the parts numbers located on the factory packaging. This unit is a replacement for Mercury/ Mercruiser 1623-8951A27, 1623-8951A37. Please note this listing includes Sierra 18-2376 bearing carrier, Quicksilver 15-47397A-1 Shim Assembly, and the full gasket and spacer kit. In any case, please see photos for more and please verify compatibility before purchasing. This item is guaranteed non-DOA, however, because it is a new stock item, it does not carry any manufacturer’s warranty. Sierra Part 18-2401.
