Description
This system was removed from a dual Etec outboard, dual station vessel that was being repowered with different engines that have built in steer-by-wire.
This listing is for the sale of a nearly complete if not fully complete single station, Optimus 360 electric steering system – other parts, such as a sensor for GPS or heading input, and tach source, may be needed.
Even though the system was fully functional when removed, we set this unit up on our test bench to replicate vessel installation, then conducted a thorough bench test to verify functionality.
This unit was originally set up to be a dual station unit for a vessel with Evinrude outboards – you must have the system commissioned by an Optimus dealer – you will not be able to commission on your own.
This unit comes with all items required for a single station dual engine installation – please verify that your engines work with the cylinders spec’d below.

This is a used item, and may show signs of wear from normal use.
Please Note: There are areas of normal wear consistent with a used item on certain items. We have pictured them as best we could. These are solely cosmetic, and during testing did not hinder the overall performance of this system and overall, the system is in excellent used condition.
Important: This system will need to be set up by an authorized Seastar Optimus dealer, as the system requires a 4-digit dealer pin to reconfigure this system for your needs. Currently this system is set up for a dual station, but this system will need to be converted to a single station unit and will need to be commissioned for your particular boat.
