Because of our vast experience with used marine electronics, we can identify potential failures and have developed fixes for these failure points to ensure that our customers are getting the best-used unit out there.
Within our extensive MME REFURB process, we have installed a new LCD screen for longevity and a clearer picture.
Our testing is rigorous! We port test these units, and should anything come up post-sale, we can deal with it. See the diagnostics and function screens for proof of functionality. All the ports on this display including the sounder via DSM port, SeaTalk port, radar port, and card reader have been tested and are working correctly with no issues. All the ports are intact with no corrosion.
Post MME REFURB process, this display is put through testing for several hours to ensure that all aspects of this unit are in excellent overall working condition. Lens has some minor blemishes but is only noticeable when the unit is powered down.
The operating system of this display has been updated to the latest software version, v5.16, to run at peak performance.
This unit will need peripheral equipment (Cables, sounder module, radar antenna, GPS antenna, and a chart card) to perform certain functions. None of these peripherals are included, however, they can be purchased from us through our online store or can be found from other sellers on eBay.
This display is perfect as a drop-in replacement for a downed C80. Please note that C-Series units are stand-alone displays and cannot be linked together to share data.
