This Airmar/Raymarine B164 Thru-Hull 20 degree, 50/200 kHz transducer came to us from a yacht management company that was liquidating new and used excess inventory.
This transducer was sold to a customer, then underwent dry-fitting at which point it was determined that it was the wrong “tilt”. It was then removed from the boat, and put back on the shelf. It is basically un-used and has never seen water.
We recently evaluated all of our new blem and used stock transducers with the Airmar TDT1000, which is the gold standard in transducer test equipment.
This transducer passed testing on both frequencies and is ready to install.
This is a B164-20 with the Raymarine DSM-style connector for most Raymarine traditional 50/200 sounder modules including the DSM250, DSM300, CP300, and CP370.
Total cable length is around 30 feet. This is for installation on deadrises of 16 to 24 degrees only because it is what is known as a “tilted element” transducer.
