We recently evaluated all of our KE-4 parts. All parts we have listed have been tested on a live test jig and found to be in working order.
This system is in excellent working order. The system shows very little signs of exposure to humidity that we see on most of these systems.
The KE-4 system is simple and reliable. We don’t sell other systems (such as i6000) as complete systems because of their sub-par reliability, configuration woes, and lack of manufacturer support.
This system contains almost everything needed for a single station dual engine application. At the time of listing, we are listing an additional control head that can be used to turn this into a 2-station system. NHK MEC still produces parts for these systems so they are still supported. The system includes throttle/shift cables (28 foot, missing engine ends). Here is a list of what is included:
-Dual Binnacle/Controller
-10 meter CANbus cable to connect binnacle to control units (control units connect to each other and are mounted in close proximity to one another and you will daisy chain the 10 meter cable to the binnacle)
-2x Control Units w/Power Cables – one set of power cables is about 5 feet long, the other is about 8 feet long.
-2x Actuator Units w/28 Foot Throttle and Shift Cables – No ends on the engine side.
-Harness to connect two control units to each other for throttle sync, etc.
-Full Owners/Installation Manual (printout) and misc. hardware.
