Garmin//Nautamatic//TR-1//Gladiator Autopilot Remote Control–TESTED
This item was removed from a vessel being refit with new electronics.
The unit has been tested using a tr-1 bench test rig and found to be fully operational. All buttons work fine, as well as the backlight.
This would be a great replacement for your bad controller on your TR-1 autopilot system.
The orange connector was damaged so we installed a 3d printed one we make in house. This is a suitable replacement and the material will not dry rot like the factory orange connectors did.

Unit has some discoloration on cable and mild rust on mounting screws.

**NOTE**: Max Marine Electronics is proud to offer Garmin/Nautimatic TR-1 Autopilot systems. We had an issue with customers returning items because they mistakenly purchased the wrong component for the wrong system, the part didn’t solve their problem, or one of several other reasons. In an effort to mitigate this and ensure that our customers purchase equipment they are able to use, we are offering these with no returns. We will continue to warranty this equipment for 90 days as we do all other tested working equipment, but we will no longer accept returns for any reason. It is not our intention to be unfair or unreasonable, but returns are very costly for us – we must retest every item that comes back to maintain our strict quality control. In order to continue to offer products at the high level of quality our customers expect, we had no choice but to make this change.
