Additional Notes: We have no idea what this cable does, but it is clearly a DB9 to micro-c adapter, and it clearly has Garmin stamped on the molded cable ends. We figured we would throw it out there in the hopes that someone needs it and knows the cable’s function.
Please note – this does not have any “active” functions, meaning it will not convert data. It is passive, it will convert connector types pin for pin (pinout unknown) but it is not going to do something like convert rs232 data from your PC to your NMEA2000 backbone.
