Description
This is the Furuno FCV-292 Color Video Sounder. This dual-frequency version allows you to use either 28 kHz or 50 kHz. This unit has been bench-tested and is in good working condition. Cosmetically, it shows minor signs of wear/usage, including some small blemishes on the back cover/chassis and silicon residue on the sides of the front bezel (SEE PHOTOS). These do not affect the functionality of the unit. This unit has a mounting base on the bottom of it, allowing for tabletop placement.

THIS FCV-292 WILL ONLY OPERATE 1KW TRANSDUCERS. WILL NOT WORK WITH A 2 OR 3-KW TRANSDUCER. FURUNO MADE TWO DIFFERENT MAIN BOARDS FOR THESE SOUNDERS, THIS IS THE OLDER MAIN BOARD, WHICH LIMITS THIS SOUNDER TO 1KW TRANSDUCERS!!!
