This is a used Furuno FA-150 Class A AIS IMO-approved transponder. This unit was acquired from a customer who was in charge of a vessel undergoing a refit.
This transponder has been fully tested and confirmed that it Transmits and Receives AIS traffic. We tested it using a Furuno VX2 and a PC
All Input and output data ports have been tested and confirmed working.
We updated this transponder to software version 4.07
The MMSI and call Sign have been removed from the unit, along with any other critical vessel data from the previous owner.
