Description

Airmar/Raymarine P79 In- Hull Mount Adjustable Dead Rise depth only transducer.

We recently evaluated all of our new blem and used stock transducers with the Airmar TDT1000, which is the gold standard in transducer test equipment.

This transducer passed testing and is ready to install.

This transducer is in excellent condition and comes as shown w/FISO spade connectors for several Raymarine instruments. We were unable to tell if this is “used” or new out of box, but listed as used to be safe.

Comes complete with all installation accessories and instructions.

The P79 is an in-hull transducer that is only recommended for solid fiberglass hulls (the majority of boats). Cored hulls (such as the foam-cored Boston Whaler or Everglades, or balsa cored Yellowfin) are not able to use an in-hull because the foam/wood core causes degradation of the transducer signal – some cored hulls do have a solid section specifically made for transducer mounting – you can mount this transducer in one of those locations.
