This will work on 99.9% of units – Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno, Simrad, Lowrance (everything with a “10k ohm thermistor”), Northstar, Raytheon, etc.
This is a replacement Airmar button temp sensor that can be screwed into the transom for sea water temp.
In order to connect this to your display, you will need to cut the transducer cable in a place that is relatively dry (don’t cut it in the bilge). You will reconnect all of the wires going to the transducer except for the white and brown wires, which will connect to the blue and black wires of this sensor, the order of these connections does not matter (ie blue to white and black to brown = blue to brown and black to white). Some models carry temp on a different set of wires, but most will be white and brown. You do not need to connect the shield of this sensor but if you want, you can connect it to the shield of the existing transducer cable. Connections can be made using waterproof heat shrink butt connectors or using a terminal block.
This is a very economical way to save a transducer with broken temperature sensor.
