This listing is for a Simrad RPU160 Reversible Hydraulic autopilot pump in excellent working condition.
This pump has been rebuilt in-house. We cleaned out any debris and old fluid left inside and replaced O-rings. The motor was also disassembled, and the commutator was polished. The brushes were also inspected and replaced as needed.
Testing:
This unit was then bench-tested on our hydraulic helm, where it was tested for amperage draw and fluid flow. All results are within the manufacturer’s specs. There are three photos of the amp draw. The first one shows the pump running 4.64 Amps at 12.49V. The second photo shows the pump under a load of 300PSI running 8.55 Amps. And the third photo shows the pump under a load of 500PSI running 12.00 Amps pushing around 1.5LPM, taking into consideration that there is still a small amount of air in the system, so when bled, the fluid flow will increase. The manufacturer recommends that under 15 amps at 500psi is good.
Please Note: This pump does not come with additional cables, hydraulic lines, or extra fittings; it only comes with what is shown in the pictures. It also has
some marks on the pump head. There was paint chipping on this pump, so we stripped the old paint off and repainted it. There is no mounting hardware for this pump.
