Description
This is a Northstar 4kw HD dome radar. It was tested on a Simrad NSE12 over the enet port. The radar got multiple targets at 6,18, and 24nm out. This radar is compatible to work with Northstar, Simrad, and Lowrance systems. This will work with the Lowrance HDS Gen 1 and 2, Simrad NSS, NSO, and Simrad NSE systems (any generation), and Northstar 6000i/6100i systems.
Listing is for the 4kw dome, Navico 4kw radar processor, 45foot cable, and the enet network cable plus adapter.
Dome may have some surface imperfections. Radar cable is noticeably used, None of which effects the performance of this unit. It is in overall GREAT shape.
WE WILL SUPPLY THE PROPER CABLES TO HOOKUP TO YOUR DISPLAY! BUYERS MUST LET US KNOW WHAT THEY ARE HOOKING UP TO SO WE MAY PROVIDE YOU WITH THE PROPER CABLES. Cables shown in the pictures are for the Lowrance HDS/Simrad NSS/NSE/NSO, if you do not specify a cable choice, this is what you will receive.
To connect to a Northstar 6000i or 6100i:
Interface cable connects the black box processor directly to the I/O port of the display
To connect to a Northstar 8000i:
Two ethernet cables would be supplied (one is a straight cable, one is a crossover) depending on whether you’re going from black box into a network switch/hub or straight into the back of the machine
To connect to a Lowrance HDS, Simrad NSS, or Simrad NSE:
We’ll give you everything from processor to yellow network/”ethernet” plug (5 pin round).
