Description
This adapter plate attaches to your existing radar mount with a 5 7/8″ square bolt pattern and adapts that to the Koden RB715A’s 8-7/16″ X 6-11/16″ bolt pattern. The RB715a is a Koden scanner used on Sitex, older Simrad, Northstar, Maptech, Nobeltec, Rose Point, and other products – it is a very common scanner. This is designed to allow the mounting of the RB715a on older mounts with a smaller top plate (which isn’t large enough to fit this radar). On 8″ top plates, you will need to drill the edge of the hole. Manufactured by Seaview but may work on other brands.
These are new old stock units in their original box and include the hardware. These were originally designed for Seaview mounts but if you can fit a 5 7/8″ square bolt pattern on your existing mount, there’s no reason why this shouldn’t work.
