This unit has a dead internal battery but is functional. We tested it with a transducer as shown. Because of the battery, it asks you for some information on startup but if you hit enter a couple times, it will work normally. Great cheap replacement for a dead unit. There are two wires coming out of the case – no idea what they’re for but they’re not power, Seatalk? NMEA maybe?
